We have a bustling community full of writers happy to take a read of your WIP.

Our Beta Reading is done entirely through Discord where members can share their work in the #beta-reading channel. However, we do have a few caveats before you start to share:

• You must be willing to read the works of other members.
• You must have a thorough outline of the type of feedback you are looking for. You can find examples of what to put on the Discord server.
• We do not accept ANY submissions using generative AI.

The beta-reading process is more relaxed than Critique Club as it varies by each person. However, if you develop a reputation of not reading others’ work in exchange, then your work will be unlikely to gain readers from this group, and you may be banned from posting. We want to cultivate a culture of giving as writers, so please also think about what you can give to the group, rather than just what you want to take from it.

You are also free to look for a partner to work with closely. We have many members who have found their writing/critiquing partners through our sever!
